In both animal and human studies scientists from the Mayo clinic have seen “highly significant and dramatic results” from anti-aging trials, these studies have been so successful that the drugs may be available on the market within the next 2 years.

In mice lifespans were extended by 36%, that is the equivalent of 30 human years. In human trials with patients suffering from debilitating idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in which the lungs have become scarred and breathing greatly restricted the team reports “highly significant and dramatic results”; patients who typically never see any improvements in their condition were able to move faster and further after just 9 doses over 3 months.

Currently there are 6 trials underway with 6 more to begin soon. If they are all successful these drugs could be on market, pending approval, within 2 years, which employs anti-aging senolytic drugs.

The drugs are used to treat leukemia in combination with quercetin. The senolytics trigger the self destruction mechanism in harmful zombie senescent cells that have lost the ability to divide, which are then replaced with healthy cells.

These dysfunctional zombie cells are alive and clog up the body’s systems leading to inflammation and release of harmful chemicals in critical areas of the body causing chronic disease.

These age related chronic disease tend to cluster, finding a method in which to target the process which can trigger onset of these disease using a broad spectrum medication in a similar manner to antibiotics may effectively switch it off.

“...Older individuals are either completely healthy and can play 18 rounds of golf a day, or they have 3, 5, or even 10 different conditions...” “...Most people don’t want to live to be 130 feeling like they are 130; but they wouldn’t mind living to 90-100 feeling like they are 60...”  explains Dr. James Kirkland.
