The brain is essentially lipid, made of fluid and instead of being hardwired like a computer it is more like a muscle; the more you use it the stronger it gets. There are certain nutrients that need to get to the brain and it also needs to be kept hydrated, when it gets too dehydrated you lose cognitive ability and balance. Good protein, lean meat and plenty of vegetables will ensure your brain receives the nutrients it needs.
