The author interviews a number of long-time practitioners of calorie restriction; unfortunately choosing to focus on quirks, skipping over the overwhelming scientific evidence for the health benefits of low calorie diets.

Snide articles aside, calorie restriction is well worth investigating. It is the only currently proven method of extending your natural healthy longevity.
