Heart patients want more information

There is a gap between the amount of information people want about their heart condition and the amount they actually receive.
Being well informed about heart disease and participating in decision making are both known to improve the outcome. Researchers at the University of Toronto surveyed a group of over 500 patients who had been hospitalized for either heart attack or angina to find out how well informed they felt.
