The sixth Australian to be cryopreserved was apparently frozen earlier this month. As the main subject of the article says: "Death seems like a big nothing and I want to see what humans get up to over the coming centuries.

Those of us who see cryonics as a backup plan are placing at least some of our near-term hopes for healthy life extension in medical advances relating to regenerative medicine.
