Lecture 1: Increasing IGF-1 Levels to the Upper Range of Normal to Fight Disease

Description:
This lecture will discuss how low and low normal IGF-1 levels in patients with Chronic Medical Disorders (CMD) is independent of anterior pituitary deficiencies of LH, FSH and TSH and the implications for treating CMD using IGF-1 deficiencies as a diagnostic marker. Data will be presented along with case studies and pertinent treatment protocols.

Dr. Braverman is the Director of PATH Medical, a national network of affiliated medical professionals. He received his B.A. Summa Cum Laude from Brandeis University and his M.D. with honors from New York University Medical School, after which he performed post-graduate work in Internal Medicine with a Yale Medical School affiliate.

Lecture 2: The End of Night: Potential Impact on Cancer Incidence

Description:
This lecture will discuss the effect of artificial light on the circadian rhythms and the production of melatonin by the pineal gland.

Dr. Reiter is Professor of Neuroendocrinology in the Department of Cellular and Structural Biology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Reiter has recieved 65 honors and awards for his research, has been an invited speaker at more than 350 scientific symposia/meetings, published more than 1200 scientific articles in medical journals, authored or co-authored 10 books, and edited 25 books.
