How to avoid drying yourself out like a prune

By sswartz at Sept. 27, 2012, 5:25 p.m., 16079 hits

I was at the beach training a group of students this morning.
Lady Jane joined us for the first time.

She's an aerobics and weight trainer and teaches 6 to 10 classes a week.

She said, I feel like I am burning up all the time and I think I am getting old too quickly.

You can already see the prune appear beginning in her face.

Lady Jane is over cooking herself alive from the inside out.

In Chinese medicine
* Excessive physical work weakens the muscles and the spleen.
* Excessive lifting injures the kidneys.
* Excessive jogging/ running and aerobics damage the tendons,
leading to a deficiency of the liver.

And she been doing all of this to herself 5 to 10 times a week for
years.

That excessive heat ages the body far too quickly.

You know what happens when you take a juicy plum and put it in the
sun for too long?

“It dries up and in no time you have a prune.”

The same thing happens when we over exercise or do the wrong kinds
of exercise.

We prune out, from the inside out.

The internal organs get over heated and start to wither.
You can see the first signs in the face.

The skin looses its collagen & tone and before you know it you have
Old Skin.

Take a look at the fire element in the five elements theory.

It has to do with the heart organs as well as the small intestine,
pericardium and triple warmer. When the fire element is out of
balance you will notice some unusual things happening in your mental
emotional make up.

1. Fun turns to explosive nature
2. Humor becomes excitability
3. Conversation turn to incoherent babble
4. Generosity becomes selfishness
5. Friendliness becomes flirtation
6. Charisma changes to seduction
7. Good dreams change to Nightmares

These all stress the body as well and even if you don't exercise,
don't think you're off the hook stress contribute to over-heating,
too.

You should ask yourself this question right now. What can I do to
slow down my ageing, keep my skin looking young and my internal
organs hydrated and healthy?

The Body needs a way to Cool off Internally.

The way you exercise and the kind of exercises you do can do exactly
that. If you exercise correct the body doesn't overheat.

The energy flow in the channels and the Qi opens up and moves.

You'll be one the ageless groups with elasticity, flexibility, vigor
and enthusiasm.

You can eliminate blockages, stagnant Qi and just plane stale
energy. It's all in the way you train.

I have been training my body and mind for over 40 years in Chinese longevity techniques. Some are herbal and others are based on acupuncture. These are important modalities in your over all health and longevity program and the programs of your patients. But the key to staying young and healthy is the proper internal exercises and your mental outlook. I teach all my patients these techniques. Everyone gets a prescription for internal exercise….
I highly suggest you incorporate this into your practice. You will switch the responsibility of health back to the patient save yourself hours of time and move yourself into a “more powerful Physician and Health Coach.
I have programs ready to ship to your office to sell to your patients
Contact my office 305- 407-0120 or call me direct on my cell 786-271-0325 and we can set up a meeting.
Sincerely

Dr. Sherwood Swartz
