C. Norman Shealy MD, PhD
Dr. Shealy is a neurosurgeon trained at Massachusetts General Hospital, following medical school at Duke University. He has taught at Harvard, Western Reserve, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, and Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. In 1978, Dr. Shealy was instrumental in creating The American Holistic Medical Association, and served as its founding president for its first two years.

Dr. Shealy introduced the concepts of Dorsal Column Stimulation and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS). In 1971 he founded The Shealy Institute , the frst comprehensive, holistic clinic for management of pain and stress management, which became the most noted pain clinic in the US with 85% success in over 30,000 patients. The Shealy protocols for management of depression, migraine, fibromyalgia and back pain are increasingly being integrated into hospitals and individual practices. Dr. Shealy holds 10 patents for innovative discoveries, and is releasing his newest book titled Pony Wsisdom for the Soul, as well as a movie titled Medical Renaissance – The Secret Code.
