CardioPocket is a pocket-sized heart monitor that comes with a one-lead rhythm strip sewn inside a wallet. If a patient experiences chest pain all they have to do is place the strip on their chest and dial the number of the nearest monitoring center. The instant ECG is relayed to the monitoring centre by placing a phone to the chest.

The instant ECG is relayed to the monitoring centre by placing a phone to the chest. The monitoring station would then send for help or urge the patient to visit the nearest hospital if they received a suspect signal. CardioPocket should be available in the US by next year.
