A PREDICTION: Expect MORE pseudo-scientific Bogus/VooDoo - - CO2 sequestration - - to come from the special carbon Interests/Industries. PART I: the problem, PART II: the solution(s).

AND NOW THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY TO DO IT AGAIN! When it comes to reducing CO2 amounts in the atmosphere, the CO2-producing interests - - oil, coal, gas, cement - - will tell us that sequestering (collecting CO2, and pumping it underground) is the answer.

We have it on good (inside) authority that the carbon industry is preparing a very extensive publication - - almost a book, with pretty pictures and more unscientific BS/BOGUS you could ever think of - - pushing CO2 Sequestration.
Think of sequestration - - collecting CO2, and pumping it underground - - as Earth Castration!

Well, Halllujah! But they fail to tell you that
a) The total annual world CO2 production is 37 billion metric tons; you do the math! At 1 million tons per depository - - 370,000 in total/year - - spread out over this globe, this should guarantee you to be very close to one of those time bombs.
b) According to a detailed analysis by the International Energy Agency (EA), CO2 sequestering is a short-term solution that requires lots of energy (producing more CO2), and with potential disastrous consequences.
c) Compressed into a liquid so it can be injected into the ground– is a step that typically consumes 20 per cent of the energy yielded by burning coal in the first place. Then you need more energy to drill a hole, ¾ of a mile deep, and more energy to pump the poison into the ground. Wow! What they won’t do to keep burning carbon fuels and, naturally, TO MAINTAIN CARBON PROFITS/RIPOFFS.
d) But the ground under those synfuels plants is usually rock-formation that is not suitable for CO2 deposits. So, you have to build pipelines to pump it to a suitable location. In the example of the N-Dakota plant (below, next paragraph) the gas is transported by pipeline to an old oil field 250 miles away - - minimum $ 1.3 million per mile to build the pipeline.

These underground CO2 storage areas must be monitored at all times; they are true TIME BOMBS! CO2 is much heavier than air, and earthquakes directly connected to global warming (GW), can kill. The largest recent disaster caused by CO2 occurred in 1986, in Cameroon, central Africa. A volcanic crater-lake known as Nyos belched bubbles of CO2 into the still night air and the gas settled around the lake's shore, where it killed 1800 people and countless thousands of animals.

Let’s look at one key example: The Great Plains Synfuels plant in North Dakota produces synthetic natural gas from lignite coal. Since 2000, the facility also has been capturing CO2 from the “synthesis gas” (an intermediate product), compresses it, and transports it 300 kilometers by pipeline to the Weyburn oil field. There the flow of CO2, currently about 8,000 tons per day, is injected into the oil field.

**** PART II ****: CO2-FREE ENERGY ALTERNATIVES GALORE: What we can/must do to, effectively, REDUCE CO2 levels in the atmosphere.

Presently the entire energy use of this entire globe is about 14 Terawatts (TW).By 2050 – because of population growth to about 9.6 Billion - we will need a minimum of 30 TW.

Energy technologies – worldwide – are limited:
Gas, oil, coal, combined (maximum oceans and trees can handle): 10 TW
Biomass, using every plant-growth trick in the book, the absolute
maximum we could squeeze out is 5 – 7 TW
Hydro-electric, Geothermal; maximum # of dams on every river: 1 TW
Wind; maximum # of turbines built wherever possible: 2 TW
Perfect conservation re. all of the above: possibly (don’t count on it) 2 TW
Maximum: total: 22 TW
30 minus 22 = 8
We would still need an additional 8 TW; in reality, most likely more! From where could we get it?
Answer: only solar is unlimited; solar with Hydrogen Technology is perfect.
With a priority effort - - to quickly bring CO2 down to acceptable levels, and prevent/delay the predicted earth catastrophe - - here is what needs to be done (preferentially by yesterday!).
1) CONSERVATION: THE # 1 needed action - - shown by RMI to reduce CO2 by 30% - - is CONSERVATION; a worldwide program to educate people about GREATLY reducing carbon fuel consumption will not only save lots of money, but it will also improveyour health ( - - by walking, or getting on a bicycle to cover small distances). 2) Besides utilizing all (limited) CO2-free sources of energy (Hydro-electric, wind, geothermal), place a special effort on PHOTOVOLTAICS because it is unlimited and essential to hydrogen technology. Be part of the solution; consider this a personal challenge: If you have a house, or company, install PV (PhotoVoltaics, solar panels). This is not only an excellent way of saving energy costs, but it will save you even more when you get to the next step, buying an electric car; charging an EV with your own electricity costs as little as $ 2.86 to drive 100 miles.
Get personally involved, and help to eliminate/terminate Chemtrail spraying; this pseudo-scientific VooDoo reduces solar panel output, and it kills – trees - our first line of defense against CO2.

We need an inexpensive electric Volkswagen equivalent for the masses, with no expensive gimmicks - - crank the windows up and down, adjust seats, manually - - that everybody can afford.

4) Hydrogen technology; hydrogen cars.Combining PV and electric applications – is already demonstrated/applied as THE clean energy system for industry, homes, and hydrogen cars. Here is how – extremely simple – it works:
a) PV panels produce electricity.
b) This electricity feeds electrical applications, from EVs to heating/cooling; anything that needs a clean source of energy, and 100% CO2-free.
c) Some of the electricity is used to take water – H2O – apart into hydrogen and oxygen.
d) The hydrogen is stored – low pressure containers; simple technology.
e) When electricity is needed at night, or to fuel the electric motors in a hydrogen car - - hydrogen, fed into a “Fuel Cell,” gives back electricity and H2O, thus going past the range limit of an EV. In essence, hydrogen cars are electric cars, with the electricity coming from a fuel cell instead of a battery.
