2) From the Ground up: DEFINING THE BASIC PROBLEM – excess CO2.
Over hundreds of thousands of years - - despite uncontrolled fires, ice ages, volcanic eruptions - - CO2 levels have spiked frequently, but nature always averaged it out to about 315 ppm. Starting around 1900, with the population explosion, and the industrial revolution, CO2 levels started to increase steadily. Scientists calculated a level of 350 ppm as maximum acceptable, but dreaded anything above that, especially a level of 400 ppm, throwing climate, eco-balance, weather patterns, into worldwide disarray.
Earth’s first line of defenses against CO2 are the big balancers, trees and oceans, that take in CO2, and give off O2, oxygen. With CO2 levels climbing to 350, trees started to shut down CO2 up-take (because CO2 became toxic to them at these levels), ocean acidification terminated life in the aqueous hemisphere, and earth started a rapid downhill spiral. Studies at universities confirmed, again and again that, at the present CO2 levels, trees and oceans were only able to balance 54% of all CO2, leaving us, in the US alone, with a daily EXCESS of around 16 billion pounds of CO2 PER DAY.
In October of 2013, for the first time a measuring station in Hawaii – a location reflecting the best (lowest) possible global levels – reported CO2 levels of 400 ppm. 3) Trees are now dying worldwide; estimates by forestry experts suggest that, within 20 years, at least half of all trees will be dead. Trees dying is due to two factors: 1) Destructive tree beetles; because, due to temperatures raised by Global Warming, tree beetles now replicate twice as fast, and 2) Aluminum poisoning, which makes them shut down water up-take (the source of toxic aluminum), which weakens trees and makes them even more susceptible to beetle attacks. Both could be brought back to homeostasis by focusing on the cause of Global Warming, CO2, and terminating the geoengineering insanity. Allowing the tree die-off to continue is suicide; it just takes a little longer. Does anybody see any logic in continuing the spraying?????

4) METHANE: As a greenhouse gas, Methane – CH4 – is 105 times more severe than CO2. 400 to 1,000 gigatons, previously safely tugged away in tundra permafrost land, and in deep, cold, oceans (as “clathrates”), due to the rapidly disappearing Arctic ice causing permafrost areas to thaw, and oceans to warm, it is now putting 50 million tons of Methane into the atmosphere each year. Plumes bubbling up from the ocean were as big as 1 km (3/4 of a mile) in diameter. Because this Methane release into the atmosphere is ever increasing, this was the reason for the AMEG to make the emergency announcement as per 1), above.

First time one – myself, former oil industry research chemist and professor of chemistry, other scientists questioned - learns about this – Chemtrails, weather modification -, the response is laughter and rejection of such “conspiracy idiocy”; thinking about the possible scientific reasoning behind such a scheme, one concludes: “Who would do such a stupid thing (?) - - not even government could think up such a retarded, brainless Frankenstein scheme.”
5) And then - MOSCOW, Russia – Edward Snowden came forward and confirmed “Chemtrails” as classified project(s) to reverse ozone depletion, and alter the world’s climate. The shocking truth, as he says, is that government agents have carefully kept the massive Chemtrail efforts completely under wraps, and that it was NOT initiated and OK’d by a consensus of Climate Change scientists. Snowden said that the scientists behind it ( - who? If not ippc scientists? 6) As justification for Chemtrails - they apparently used a 1992 National Academy of Sciences report (Policy Implications of Greenhouse Warming: National Academy of Engineering, Institute of Medicine), which was quite pessimistic – pointing out that Global Warming would affect billions of people world-wide, and – at that time – that very little could be done about it.
7) Then, in 2003, an anonymous “deep throat” geoengineering insider - “Deep Shield” who, from his statements and knowledge of science facts, must have been a higher-up scientist – also confirmed and exposed it all. 8) “Deep Shield” confirmed the following:
The economic push by nearly every nation on earth for a global economy - weighed against what was a very expensive project; the fact that weather and climate has not been ‘normal’ for a decade – united nations to participate in the “Shield” project.
The arguments appear to be due to several factors, such as the expense of all of this, the effectiveness and the long-term outlook for humanity and Earth (which, at that time, was not good).
Dangerous UV radiation – so strong that it burns the bark off trees – and the extreme problems associated with ozone depletion.
“I can only draw one conclusion that the threat of UV summer and major climatic, global warming is worth the risk of poisoning 30% of the earth, humanity and otherwise.”
The Shield's primary mission was to repair ozone, reflect UV and Infrared radiation back out into space, and mitigate the green house effect (prevent some sun energy from reaching earth).
The ‘official’ off the record estimate was that over the next 50 years there will be 2 billion causalities; # of health-wise affected people - - - an estimate which, in terms of ecological and environmental disasters, was FAR too low.
In 2003: “that the climate and weather issues we have seen to date would get far worse during the next two years. These will become so noticeable that no one will doubt that we are in serious hot water.”
9) 2004 – 2006 confirmed the prediction, and spraying was enhanced; now observable worldwide. However, apparently re-evaluations of carbon-free energy projects had not been done; had it been done, it would have shown that the 10-billion-dollar/year costs of geoengineering would be better invested in clean energy projects that were researched, and proven effective, from Siemens of Germany to professor Dan Nocera, MIT (now Harvard), and ocean wave projects worldwide. Looking at the bottom-line, this was another strong hint that the carbon industry was really pulling the strings.

10) Later on – 2012 and years following: despite the enhanced worldwide spraying, the worsening weather showed, more and more frequently, that the Shield actions had failed, and actually WORSENED THE OVERALL PROBLEM; with UV radiation getting worse, and key Global Warming points, like the Arctic ice cap disappearing at a much faster rate than calculated previously, the worsening trend was clearly established. According to – 2003 - Deep Shield, “the Shield Project was basically worthless when it came to reducing these issues.” A look at basic laws of physics – energy accountability, and laws of thermodynamics – showed again that this approach couldn’t work, that the chemicals used in spraying actually CAUSE ozone depletion, and one wonders about the “experts” that justified such pseudo-scientific VooDoo”; what was more dominant: their lack of knowledge of basic science facts, or their – special (oil, coal, fracking)-interest-influence, trying to delay real actions while maintaining carbon industry profits?

12) We attempted to contact true climate change scientists – from MIT, to Harvard, Stony Brook, and Berkeley chemistry professors - - like prof. Kirk Smith, Nobel Laureate, Berkeley U., and MIT professor Dan Nocera (now at Harvard), others - - and nobody confirmed that they were involved with, or had been asked their opinion, about the geoengineering weather modification projects..
13) So, why – truthfully, please – continue this money-wasting, everything-failing, Frankenstein pseudo-science? 15) WE MUST FOCUS ON THE CAUSATIVE FACTOR – excess CO2 - , on conservation, and on implementing highly effective technologies, developed by MIT, Harvard, Siemens, Germany - - Solar/Hydrogen/FuelCells - - that can replace polluting carbon fuels and run, literally 100% pollution-free, the entire planet on water and (mainly) photovoltaics (solar electricity), supported by wind, hydro, geothermal, and (ocean) wave electricity.
16) One could/.should also look at this as terrorist act, pushed/initiated by anti-US interests: Our first line of defense against CO2 are trees that inhale CO2 and exhale oxygen. 17) The problem with Government is that, once it initiates a program, or implements a law, it is extremely difficult to reverse it. At the time when, based on the National Academy of Sciences report, they, pessimistically, concluded “I can only draw one conclusion that the threat of UV summer and major climatic, global warming is worth the risk of poisoning 30% of the earth, humanity and otherwise,” things looked truly bad. However, with today’s knowledge of what really causes Global Warming – excess CO2 - , and amazing discoveries at our leading universities – Hydrogen/FuelCell technology – things look much more optimistic, and WE CERTAINLY HAVE THE CAPACITY TO REVERSE GLOBAL WARMING. The question is just how to bring this message of extreme urgency to clearly thinking heads in Governments, and how fast we can get true action started.
So, what needs to be done?
18) THE SCIENCE IS CLEAR; IT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF:
CO2, without any question of a doubt, is THE # 1 cause of Global Warming: CO2 begins warming, causes temperature increases in tundra - - increased temperature drives water vapor feedback, water vapor feedback accelerates heating, which initiates more heating, etc., etc.
Because the extreme CO2 amounts created by burning fossil fuels – more than twice the amounts plants and oceans can handle, 36 billion pounds of CO2 per day in the US alone – CO2 is the # 1 trigger/cause of Global Warming, ocean acidification, death of sea life, shifting ecosystem balance, species extinction, and much more. Therefore the logical thing must be to reduce CO2 by 80%, not by 2050, but by 2020, possibly earlier. ENERGY CALCULATIONS - - taking into account all ways of CO2 production and reduction - - MAKE IT - 100% - CLEAR THAT GREATLY REDUCING OIL AND GAS, QUICKLY ELIMINATING COAL, WHILE CHANGING TO NON-CARBON SOURCES OF ENERGY must be the main thrust to reverse Global Warming. This schlocky, non-thinking, approach spread like a disease, leading to (news items Aug. 2014) utility companies sponsoring laws to make it difficult for people to install solar, and homeowners who had installed solar rooftops are waiting for months to get meters installed and activated.
20) This environmental emergency is as real as it can get, and governments need to bring this message to their people; with a Doomsday warning issued by governments globally, several scientists agreed that this would be the equivalent of the time when the US was forced to enter WWII.
At that point the entire country was mobilized; car companies changed to make tanks, any company related to aviation mobilized to make bombers and fighter airplanes, ship-builders converted transport ships to destroyers and built - - with US ingenuity - - airplane carriers, U-boats and PT-boats, and the entire nation – - Democrats and Republicans alike, stood side-by-side (WOW, what an amazing concept) and supported the effort. Imagine such an effort on a global basis!
Just Google “carbon-free energy,” and you’ll find numerous technologies that could be put into action quickly; Ocean wave energy is free, well researched, and could supply electricity up and down the E. – and W-coasts. As per RMI – the Rocky Mountain Institute – practicing conservation, as done in Europe, could reduce energy needs by 30%, and hundreds of other genius ideas are being discovered every day.
